Did he get the decoder ring that REALLY explains the S&W numbering scheme? Just when I resign myself to getting over the fact that a 6906 is an alloy frame and S&W doesn't really owe us an explanation, that 147A pops up.

So you could pick one from the current S&W auto pistols, maybe 69342857212891214ERT#$WMI, or whatever they're going with these days!
