Well I went and picked up the MP15 22 I ordered from my local Scheels, and wow.......I love it to death..

I ran 500 rounds of Aguila 1700fps (if im correct) super maximum hyper velocity rounds and 200 cci mini mags with out one ftf or fte.

Currently I have a CAA front grip, Truglo 30mm red dot, and a Surefire M4 Devastator (best flashlight ever, besides the price) on it and I will be adding a CAA UPG16 grip CBS 6 buttstock and Magpul MBUS front and rear sights.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 15-22.

How does the accuracy compare to your Ruger?

Flashlight looks like it would be heavy out there at the end of the barrel.

Congrats on your new purchase! They are a blast to shoot. How is the Aguila round compared to the CCI Stingers. I actually felt a little recoil with the Stingers. I have to check by Gander to see if they have the Aguila rounds. Testing purposes..

There's something about the 15-22. Picked mine up a few weeks ago and it's a blast (pun intended) to shoot. Congratulations on your new rifle and welcome to the forum.

ya im diggin the sbr every 1 should have atleast 1 class 3 weapon.. just a suggestion but i wouldnt use the hyper rounds i have broken more parts in guns with those than i care to mention.... i put 3 guns out of comission in the same day shooting those so becareful... ive also had 1 fire o.o.b. and blow the mag out of a ruger setting my coat on fire

Well the ruger is a class 3 sbr so that doesnt help, but after shooting yesterday I honestly think that my M&P has tighter groups. Also the flashlight isnt that heavy lol my M&P kitted out seem like it weighs just a tad more then the ruger, maybe ill throw them on a scale with loaded mags.

The Aguilas I use are the loudest rounds ive ever heard in a .22 and I shoot some pretty good groups with them.

Thanks the ruger was actually my first gun I got when I was 5, it was a sbr back then also im only 18 so its registered in my dads name but hopefully when I turn 21 I can get it swapped over because I wanna give it to my kid (if I ever have one) oneday, and about the Aguilas ill try some other ammo type but thats all Ive ever used the ruger has jammed with them but never anything drastic.

and maxicooper your posts on maryland shooters about your M&P was my motivation :)

O I cant wait to get done with class today im going to go shoot 1000 rounds, ill tell you guys how its goes and maybe get some pictures of groups :D

Dam, sounds like fun. I would also like to go out and shoot a couple of boxes of bulk packs. Problem is...it is 40 degrees, windy and raining here. I know, no excuse, but.......
