New old guy in Iowa

Hi everyone, I am the Old Deere and I live in Iowa on the west bank of the Mississippi river. Been lurking around this sight for several weeks and just picked up a new Smith and Wesson model 586 4 inch barrel this morning.
Simply beautiful handgun, almost to nice to shoot, but I sure will.

Thanks for all the welcome notes from my new friends here on the forum. Moved here to Davenport Iowa about 4 years ago from upstate New York, the land of high taxes and tuff gun laws. I love Iowa due to being a common sense part of the country. Tomorrow I will take my new .357 to the local range and try it out.
