I've been a casual "lurker" for awhile and thought I'd take the plunge. I'm sure you can tell from my user name that I'm a 1911 guy, but have always had a strong interest in S&W's. Since I've been around for a few years, I've accumulated some guns that many would consider collectables but I look on as shooters. I'm not much of a collector, more of an accumulator. And in case anyone is wondering; yes, I've been to Gunsite many, many times and was an aquaintance of Col. Cooper. I still occasionally see his wife Janelle and daughter Lindy.
