New Purchase Missing Parts

I purchased a M&P Bodyguard and fount it was missing the ejector. Has anyone else here experienced a missing part from a new firearm purchase?

Yes, this was a new purchase, and the ejector was missing.

No idea, i will be speaking with the store purchased from including Smith & Wesson about this.

Is the store a reputable one? Are you sure that the Bodyguard is actually new?

Yes, this was a new purchase, and the ejector was missing.

I do not believe such firearm leaves S&W factory. It's either not a new item (perhaps it was returned earlier) or S&W came with new "ejector free" model... that I'm not aware of.

Does the gun look fired? Check the barrel.

I was thinking somebody took out the ejector and then sold it to the shop like that.

My wife bought a new Ruger AR 556 and it was missing the forward assist.

I spoke with Smith & Wesson and they are sending a ejector. I also spoke with the store and they offered to send back which I refused. This is a new firearm, not a used one.
