Just got this from Jerry Biggs - AHLPS - This is of course, a Ranger Belt that Jerry made for me. I just got it yesterday morning. (Friday) and, thus far, it's super impressive to me anyways. I wanted a good thick belt that would really hold a full size 45 Auto & Smith N Frame. I believe this will do the job really well. For anyone interested, it's made from English Bridle Leather and Latigo Leather. It's prolly at least 16oz or 18oz. -The English Bridle Leather is from Sedgwick & Co. out of Walsall, England. The Ranger Belt also has Latigo Leather. It's a 1&3/4" width.
He uses Chicago screws & a stainless steel roller buckel. He has a 5 year warranty on breakage. Anyways, I spoke with him on the phone and he seems like Iike a very nice man. I sure am pleased with the Belt. Here's a couple pics.

Fellas, I have worn this belt & can now tell yall that it's absolutely MAGNIFICENT!!
And, the price if you can believe was just a little over $90
Mr. Biggs is 79 years old & has been doing leather work since he was 14 years old(65 Years Experience)his experience really shows.....as the man said, the older the violin, the sweeter the music. Guys, yall won't ever regret getting one of these belts.
Edit- I just noticed that comment about the older the violin the sweeter the music may appear like Mr. Biggs said that. But, he did not say that. I did.
I got that from Lonesome Dove, I think, lol. Still true, nonetheless.

I have been wearing Ranger belts for nearly 4 decades. For me they are the best of the belts for dress, carry, and general purpose. Mine all carry a Model 22-4, all day, everyday.

They really are wonderful.
Having a good strong belt is just paramount imo.
Thank you, for posting, Kevin.
