Here it is! Dave e-mailed me with the finished product, now just cast your eyes on this one.:D I can't wait till I get my hands on this one. After I joined this forum started seeing a lot of awesome rigs some old some new. The one thing I had in my mind was that sure wanted one (old school). Then I posted a thread looking for one that would go with 3.5" model 27. Dave sent me a pm and the ball stared rolling. I can say doing business with Dave has been a real pleasure,he is super understanding and patient. Dave's leather work is in true artisan and craftsmanship to me this is what makes it leather art not just a holster. This is not mass produced in a factory, with that it takes time and patients but the reward is woth it. Here are a couple 3.5"ers one pre-27 the other a Lew Horton Reg. Mag. both will see time in Dave's rig. Well I have went on and on,just think a good word should spoken when it is earned. Thanks Dave!

Thanks Rusty

Got this in the mail today! Here are a couple of quick pics with the Lew Horton Reg. 27-8. All I can say is when you have it in your hands and see it WOW! This is new but with the old school vintage look. I can't say enough about Dave's work and what a pleasure to do business with, he is a class act.
Now I will need to get a couple of pics with the vintage Pre-27!

Thanks Rusty

That looks like an outstanding rig you have there! A true compliment to highlight both of your 3.5" Smiths.

Congrats, I got mine from ole Dave last week.
I have'nt taken any pix yet but it sure is nice.
He is a gentleman and an Artist in leather.
Careful we don't give him a big head though....

The holster is on the wrong side. :-)

Nite,

I used to think that too......But, now I'm thinkin sumthing different. :)

North or South, East and West...I draw and shoot with either hand, the best! ;):D

I've been wearin two at a time under a dress jacket or suit coat...No one knows if'n I'm right-handed or left.

It ain't everyone's cup of tea, of course. ;)

Let me start by saying think its great to see the appreciation everyone has for Dave's work. Next here is a little bit on the southpaw end of things. I am right hand dominate but as a wee little boy had a lazy right eye:eek: So back long ago it was learn to shoot left or not at all. Well that was no option when you want to learn how to soot to go hunting. So first was learn to handle a long gun from the left only option! Then when I started on hand guns just kept it the same. Only the last year have been practicing shooting right hand using left eye (hand gun only ya mind ) So you just never know maybe some day one for each side:D

Thanks Rusty

Damn...

I do a little leather work.... but Dave's work gone and hurt my eyes. Lookin at that is like looking into the Sun, and forgettin to blink once in awhile...

Simply beautiful....

Did I mention Damn, yet...? :D
