A good friend of mine that is an FFL went to a small "show" earlier this week and while he was there, the S&W rep was showing a new S&W 10mm revolver called the "NightGuard". He said it looked REAL nice. I believe he said it had a 2.5" barrel. Designed for concealed carry. Pretty pricey, though. EDITED TO ADD....Well, I thought this was new, but I see that it's been on S&W's web site for a while. I guess I've been under a rock too long!!!!

I wish they would bring back the 1006 or 1076. That would be nice!

The nightguard in 10mm is the model 310 it is on S&W website already. The advantage to the 10mm revolver is you can shoot 10mm or .40S&W in the gun like shooting .357mag & .38spl...I would like to see S&W come out with their M&P line in a single stack, for concealment purposes.

Please put it in the right forum next time too. YOU got my hopes up real high considering this is the SEMI AUTO PISTOLS Forum and you're blabbing about a new 10mm in your headline.

Talk about crushing someone. YIKES

Sigarms 229, Why dont you write S&W and talk to someone in their R&D section. See if they have any plans to bring back the 10mm semiauto..plant the seed in their head and make some suggestions. after all Glock has a 10mm in 2 different sizes I am sure S&W can make the M&P in a 10mm like glock did.

I was really interested in the 315NG, but now that I have seen the 310 NG, I will wait and get a 310. I figure they ought to be on the market by March.

Why write when I can do it in person at the SHOT show. And who would want a 10mm M&P? I want a steel framed one.

believe it or not, there may be people that would like to see the sigma or m&p in 10mm. I know it may be hard to swallow, but not everyone likes what you like, or doesn't like the same things you turn your nose up at. r something like that

I wouldn't mind them re-releasing 10mm in steel but would really love to see an M&P10.
Talked to the S&W when he was in Phoenix. Asked him about an M&P10 and he mentioned the 610's. He also mentioned that Performance Center would do a run of them (through a distributer). Now 500 of us have to get together and have them do it. Well, only 498 more because I'll take two.

I wouldn't mind if S&W produced a 1911 pattern 10mm. Then again an M&P10 just sounds right to me too. Interesting, but even more remote would be a reintroduction of the 10xx series with scandium alloy frames.

The S&W 1911 in 10mm would make most sense... mags and barrel conversion would be right there from the get go.

A 10mm M&Pc would be better for a CCW weapon. I would go with a 13.3oz 357 5 shot vs a 28oz 6 shot 10mm revolver.

I'd still like to see a 1013 or a 1013TSW because I like the 4513TSW size.
The M&P in 10mm would be nice, but I'd like to see a compact in a single stack for CCW.
