Got out today for the first time with the new SA-35, 3 SA mags and 200 rounds of Browning 115gr fmj. The short story is:

I LOVE IT!!! The pistol felt great, the trigger is just fine, safety is perfect. Couldn't be happier, worth the wait.

The first targets show the first 15 rounds at 10 yards. The other target is the last 30 rounds, also at 10 yards. Digging it!!

Maaaaaaaan. I saw a thread on those before they were released and kinda wrote it off, figured it'd be something neat but too rich for my blood. The actual six and change estimated street price though...I'm filling my piggy bank for one. No idea how they pulled it off at that price range but look excellent.

Not having the mag disconnect greatly improved the trigger. At the end of the range session the trigger improved even more. I don't have a gauge but the weight feels very similar to my 1911s in 4.5/5lb range.

The mags are made by Mec-Gar, outstanding quality and hold 15 rounds rather than the original's 13. All 3 functioned flawlessly, easy to load also.

No reason to pay over msrp like on GB or many other online retailers, just wait. I prepaid for mine when I ordered it.

My range is sponsoring Springfield Days in a few weeks, I plan to pick the reps brains on what if any variations might be in the works.
