That's not new, just new to you. But it is a scam, just delete it.

I received the same message a couple weeks ago. Deleted and blocked.
They will claim a small fee is payable and ask for your credit card details. They will then go on an online shopping spree.

Even after the election is decided: I still get multiple texts asking for money, one "reason" or another. I have learned to not answer polls or surveys.
I’ve gotten the same ones a couple of times in the last few weeks.

Best to delete such messages immediately. A couple of years ago I very nearly fell for an extremely slick email scam attempt that appeared to be authentic. I should have known better but fortunately I came to my senses in time.
Pretty much weekly I get a lot of emails with long nonsense addresses asking me to look at websites with low interest loans, cheap insurance, and offering to buy my home. Then there are the ones that show no sender address saying my Microsoft account has been accessed, or my Facebook account (I don't have one). They get tagged as phishing. It's endless.
I seem to get those same scams in emails and text. I block the ones I can if they’re a text. I can’t believe anyone would fall for the trick of renewing their Norton or McAfee antivirus for $899. I guess they get a sucker once in a while.

I've known a few people that have fallen for scams, due to greed.
The Customs/USPS one, was new to me.
One repeatable scam, from my years in the yachting business, was that I needed to send another $50K or more, for cost overruns, on my Nautor's Swan that is under construction.

Got the same one this morning, they’re busy little thieves aren’t they??
Got my **th Norton bill, along with my 3rd-4th Customs, but this time it was an Amazon one. They never give up. I delete anything I don't know with an attachment. How is it the major email systems don't filter the phony or non-existent domains these are sent from?
Already spammed and deleted I received a text earlier, very detailed with mention of 24+ hours and torn address label.
I did notice the link provided, seems I've seen this a number of time before with "tinyurl" embedded within the link.
No idea what it is, just a commonality seen on several instances.
