Hi guys,
I got my new Nikon scope in today I went with the fine crosshair because I target shoot only and the fine crosshairs from what I read do better with longer distances. I cant believe how clear the scope is, well worth the money if she holds true and the Parallax goes up to 1000 yards then infinity lol.

I also got the 1000 rounds in from freedom munitions and it was exactly 1000 rounds ( yes I counted em, new supplier ) and the casing were in better shape then what I got from natchez and no bad rounds due to dents.

You have a fine setup. But as for it being too big, the Bushnell Banner 6-24 I got is 16" long.

thanks guys,
what I meant is its time to change the front sight out like oneyeopen did as I cant use the sunshade that came with the new scope due to its being in the way. thats what I meant by its being almost to big :D

I have been working midnight to 4pm for the last two days so I couldn't reply today I am taking my baby to the range and trying her out :D

You might consider a forward mount that places your scope a couple of inches further toward the front to get better eye relief. Of course, that is an individual thing but I find the forward mount helps quite a bit in getting my spot right.:)

Nikon makes one that is inexpensive and the right height for an ar. M223 mount and now , I think a P223 also.

Mine is on a much smaller scope but eye relief is near perfect and a larger scope would benefit even more. Not sure the Monarch is a 1" tube like the M223 though.

While not obvious in the picture, the rear does clear the Troy BUS. There IS light between them.
