new SD40ve! Need a Holster.

First things first, I did search the forum to try and find an answer to my question before posting.

Well I just bought a New SD40ve yesterday! I have to say I love the gun. For what I paid, can't beat it.

I'm having an issue finding an Holster that fits this gun specifically.

I'm not looking for a concealed holster just something I can take to the range and open carry.

I like the Blackhawk SERPA holster but this model gun isn't listed as a fit for it.

Also I like the paddle platform more than the belt loop.

So if anyone has suggestions or comments of what they have I would love to hear them.

Most holsters made for the M&P will fit the SD

I have the walmart blackhawk fobus for the M&P and its my EDC, i also have the stage2 serpa for M&P which i bring to the range.

The NRA Store has many nice holsters for the SD and they fit great. I purchased a holster from the tactical section of the NRA store for my SD40 and my 40 Shield both and all money goes to support the NRA.

blackhawk serpa CQC size 25. it fits the sigma, it fits the sd40 ve. i use one with mine to open carry as well as conceal carry under a coat or sweatshirt. couldnt be happier with it.

S&W offers Desantis Holster for the SD Series in their webstore.

You can get 'em with or without thumb break and for LH or RH shooters.

he can get the blackhawk he likes. the size he needs is 25. its made for sigma/m&P pistols and will fit his sd40ve very well. thy try to have him go for something else when he already stated he likes the blackhawk serpa?

I bought a SAFAIRLAND paddle holster for the SD40VE and it fits like it was made for it. Safairland lists the 6378-219-411 ALS for the M&P and does not show the SDVE at all.
Anyone looking for a good paddle holster with a good locking system should take a look (it also includes the belt adapter should you want to convert from paddle to belt).

m&p 9/40

the .45 is a bit larger. it should fit a m&p 40/9 with 4.25 barrel

my friends M&P fits in my serpa just fine. in fact hes been using it til friday when he gets paid lol. ive been rocking the galco or AG
