New Shield 9

Just got a Shield 9 yesterday. Got a CT Laserguard and 4
7 shot mags coming. Now for a IWB holster. For several years
I've been partial to Crossbreed holsters but the last one I
ordered for an LC9 in June, won't be shipped until sometime
in October. I'm happy for their increased business but I'm not
waiting that long for a holster again. Can anyone recommend
a comparable holster I won't have to wait on? It fits my Glock
36 Crossbreed for a Laserguard well enough to carry but it's
just a temporary fix to carry it for now.
I've tried searching here but I get so much none related
threads in the search, it's just about not worth the effort.

This is what I use. I have a crossbreed for another weapon and it is a great holster. For the shield I wanted something minimal that maintained the same qualities of the CBST and would also allow AIWB.

It's a Latour Custom Hybrid. $65 plus a 10% LE/MIL discount if you qualify. It took him two business days to make the holster and ship it off.

I ordered a hidden hybrid holster for mine. Their website says it takes 2 to 4 weeks. I got mine in 1 week. Great holster too. I really like the versatility of carrying inside or out.

I was also interested in the Alien Gear Holster, looks like a good holster at a great price and good warranty as well. Don't know what the ship time is on them, though.

Oops Looked at it wrong. The $245 is for the CT Laser-

Are you going to stop carrying your G36?
If so, you could easily tweak that one's Kydex to fit the Shield by using a hair dryer (and oven mit). I did that to tweak the MiniTuck I had for my PF-9 to fit my Shield.

While looking for another maker, keep checking the "Crossbreed Seconds" site. All Shield holsters there are 'reserved' (Sold Pending Funds), but they do have some G36 seconds. Their factory seconds are very good and hard to find the blemish.
Just a thought.

Many also like the CompTac line. The Minotaur's Kydex Shells are interchangeable.
Same goes for Oldfaithful Holsters. You can buy those as a kit, or pre-assembled.

No problem. If you don't have the crimson trace you'd want the HHHC1......its only $59.95 +shipping. If you don't need the option for owb carry, try that alien gear and let me know how it is.

I'm keeping the G36 but I hadn't thought about checking
for seconds. I'll give it a try. I'll also look at CompTac.
