new shield hard mag insert

hi all iam a new member. just bought a new shield 9mm .mag has to be inserted very hard to seat in pistol. is this normal on a new shield.

Yes. It'll get easier with exercise (of the mags and mag springs).

Yes. Seems to be normal. My M&P40 compact is the same. I just push the mag real hard and in it goes.

Normal for the shield but then I use a pretty aggressive mag install on every reload on all my pistols so I don't notice it at all on the shield. May get a little easier after keeping the mag fully loaded over time.
