We had been working on a collaboration to get new wood grips made for the 2206, 422, 622, etc. lineup. Thing Meister Fabrications has done an awesome job duplicating grips for us in a couple styles.
They are amazing... Here is what I chose, Green/Black Laminate in a true to Herrett's 2206TGT finger groove style. Fit and finish is awesome.

They are worth checking out. I don't work for him, just a happy customer.
Many wood choices available.

I went back and ordered another set this time going more traditional... I felt a nice Fancy Walnut would look more along the line of what Herrett supplied for the TGT2206's grips. Wono, from Thing Meister came through with a stunning bookend set of grips for me. I truly couldn't be happier. I'm not sure which set my 2206 is going to wear most but I suspect these walnut ones will win out. I would hate for them to be hidden away in a box out of sight and never see any use.

could you tell me if the suppressor end was added to the original barrel or did you get a new barrel. If new, where did you purchase it? Thanks Ronman

The threaded end is a separate piece. Replaces the barrel nut. So easy even I could do it. I am not sure who makes it, a google search should find it. About 30 bucks if I remember correctly.
That whole family of .22's make great suppressor hosts. Due to the low bore axis the sights are still useable.

Yes, the suppressor adapter is an add on. Remove the barrel nut and its lock washer before adding the adapter. EWk does have a removal tool that makes it easy as stated above. S&W has cut 11/32x48 threads on the barrel.
There are three companies making the adapters currently. (while looking them up I found one more but I am not aware of their work) I have used EWK and DIP and heard others reports on Hughes as being of good quality. DIP is the "original" designer for these adapters.
