Found these on EBay for $35. Figured the Russian needed a little dressing up.

I got one of those Israeli sets a couple of years ago . I really hated their stock mag release , that really improves on it . It was a pain to install though .

Those grips look nice, but I miss the Russian star on the original grips. I have seen some wood grips with the star....maybe made by the same people.

I wonder about a couple things-

• Do they have a style with a less obnoxious beavertail?
• Do they have a version to fit the doublestack model?
• And, do they have one that fits on a P64?

I don't know. The maker IS FAB DEFENSE.

Pretty! But,...still the heel release.

I found another grip release magazine, this one by a Russian company, the Dozor. It doesn't have the beavertail. They are apparently available on eBay.

Check out the bottom grip. It has the thumb release, but also a beaver tail.
