new sigma

so i took the plunge and got the sigma and im enjoying it i haven't put a lot of ammo tru it yet (25) but the trigger pull isnt anywhere as bad as i thought it was gonna be do to the story's online

Congratulations on the new gun.

If you had listened to the stories in this forum you would have already known that the trigger pull isn't really a big deal, unless you want to try slow-fire bullseye or something like that.

Besides, the great grip feel makes up for any less-than-good trigger feel ...

Yeah, I shot 80 something rounds in an IDPA match this past Thursday evening.

When I was done I thought "wow, I wasn't even really aware of the trigger's heaviness" (I sometimes notice it when trying to shoot small groups on paper).

Was the trigger the equal of something like my CZ 75B or 1911? No. Was it adequate for a fighting pistol? Yes.

i shoot it some more today and i can if itake my time get a pretty good grouping with it the sigma is a diffrent beast compared to the c9 i had

Congrats. My 9VE has been a great gun so far and I actually like the trigger; reminds me of my revolvers. The grip just feels so comfortable in my hands.

just over 1000rds through mine in the just over a month i've had it, and i'm impressed more with it than i've been with a couple of true customs (opposed to package-jobs)...the sucker just WORKS...there are many fine handguns that work great for projection of threat stopping force at close range, and are wonders of egonomics and reliability for seamless reaction to a threat....all that is fancy talk for being able to draw and shoot in a hurry and the bullets go where intended and the gun work....but not for $279....you can pay more and not get much more, for sure....personally i prefer a .45, but for what it is, it's a GOOD one.
