Issue resolved- see below

After seeing in posts here that a new manufacturer is producing SL Variant speedloaders I submitted an order.

S.L. Variant Speedloader – Legend id back

PayPal is used to process payment.

At first the process moved well, per the vendor’s emails stating order received, payment processed, shipment prepared.

Then I receive a vendor email saying PayPal halted payment and they can’t do anything about it & it’s my problem - so, I have to deal with PayPal to get my funds back.

PayPal was non responsive thus far, so I disputed charge with my cc and got it resolved for now.

I bring this up as a warning to others who may want this speedloader.

Buyer beware

PayPal. Recent issue with PayPal. Purchaced grips never recv from scammer George Toth in Ohio. Got his info from other S&W forum as a member as to had grips was looking for. Reported to PayPal & they had my $$$ returned. Well after that they put MY account on limitation? Wanted me to verify identity after years as a customer. Could not talk to live person but thru virtual contact. Said to send pic of driver license & SS #. After many exchanges cxl'd acct. Never got answer as to why my acct was limited. Spent wasted hours communicating back & forth. And so it goes...

There is a thread on these loaders on 1911forum/ revolver. Mixed reviews on dealing with company, shipping, and quality compared to originals. It seems like they are improving, and I don’t remember anyone not getting there order.

I have not ordered any, I’m hoping to get feed back from others to see if the K frame loaders work in Colt D frames. May just get a few to try in my J frame and L frame. I don’t own a K frame currently

The website now states that they no longer accept PayPal. They switched to something called Payoneer.

Interesting, as I just received an email from the vendor saying they are sending the speedloaders.

We’ll see what happens, and if they do come, I’ll happily coordinate with my credit card company for payment

That said am skeptical

Following up- I received the speedloaders this week. I contacted the company and after a few emails where I asked for guidance on how they want payment due to the PayPal problem, they essentially are waiving the fee given the problems w/ PayPal.

I tested the speedloaders with dummy rounds, works fine.

So this came to a happy resolution

With problems i've experienced with paypal me thinks they have a trigger on firearms related items? Cxl'd account & opened new with different email & ordered firearms book same day. And so it goes...

My wife has never had a PayPal account.
She wanted to buy some article of clothing.

They wanted paid in PayPal.

She told them she only had a credit card.

Somehow, they accepted the CC #,,
then, they converted the payment to PAYPAL!!

She got a email receipt that said PayPal,
The purchased items arrived yesterday..

WHO KNOWS what happens with money these days,,,

PayPal accepts payment via credit cards. Should you ever decide to donate to this forum, that is how we accept payment. The payment says PayPal on it but goes through your credit card and no PayPal account is needed. In the forum's case, it saves the forum from having to establish a secure payment program, paying the extra cost of establishing a secure site and having to deal with multiple credit card companies. I suspect many businesses avail themselves of this service.

May I ask what loaders you got and what revolvers you have used them in so far?
