New slide on performance 3.1 plus

So I have a month old performance plus, this is the ported model. Have safety, nice sights. Wanted to try an optic, but my slide is not cut for optic. Called s&w ordered plus slide with optic mount. after waiting 2 weeks this just a slide. I will assume I can't use this with my barrel. I found another company that makes a barrel called faxon.


Is this my only choice now. I assume I would get a barrel too.


Any ideas. TIA

Look on eBay and/or gum broker. You can find an oem non ported barrel at a good price.
