I think it's the perfect SD gun.... lots of lead can be put out, if something goes wrong and the BG keeps coming, you can beat him with the gun... works for me. I bought a 4" SW500 and feel if I carry it, finding myself in a SD situation, I'll beat em with that gun too, if they are close enough.... ammo for the 500 is expensive..

That, sir, is ridiculous. Have fun with the DA holding your 500 up as Exhibit A when you get in a self-defense shoot....but people such as yourself are the ones that the Thunder 5, Judge, and Governor are marketed for. Why not carry something a little more practical and get away from the movies and video games?

Easy there BUck...... just havin some fun, 5 ft of snow in my back yard and more on the way... and by the way, it's called a gun, weapon, revolver.... but not a contraption... Bout the only thing ridiculoius here is.... oh never mind, you figure it out..

Oh ya, one more thing.. if it makes you feel better... I'm packin my little 638 in my IWB holster this morning, is that ok to carry for today.. or maybe I should have packed my M&P9c. or my MP40fs.. of course there is always my 1911SC if you like those... I just never know what I feel like carring until I decide what pants to wear.. I have about 20 more choices.. you get the message..

New S&W .410

I never thought I would see S&W copy a Taurus. It has always been the other way around. But, the Judge has made alot of money for Taurus, so maybe it makes sense to try to get some of those sales. But what a precedent! God Bless and stay warm we have 12" of snow here and it is 9 with a wind chill of -16. My dogs won't even go out to pee, I have to pick them up and put them out.
