Decided to buy the new target grips for my 625 JM. Had some old N frames, and those old target grips always felt good.

They look really nice. Love the light walnut. They feel VERY different from the old ones though.

Anyone else like the new target grips?

New Grips

Those look like a set I bought on E-Bay for my 625-8 to replace the original clown grips. The grips I had really fit well and looked nice but were a little too small for me. They were bigger than the clown grips but definitely smaller than older N-frame target grips, about right in the middle. I sent the seller a note saying the grips were not "oversized" as advertised, but I liked them anyway. Alas I sold the 625-8, but I still have the grips in case I ever pick up another RB 625. If those are altamonts they are terrible.....The ones that came on my 24 classic look like yours.......They were 3/4" too long and WAY to narrow at the top....Apparently not designed by an actual shooter.........However if you like yours that's all that matters...............

My 625JM had round to square conversions on it for a while. It has round butt stocks on it now. Bought my 25-15, and replaced the Altamont factory target) with much older factory wood.(target) Works much better for me. Just remember it has to feel right to YOU! Bob
