The 9c was my first S&W semi as well, but not my last. I purchased the Shield last March and have a 45c on layaway at the LGS. Be careful the M&Ps multiply quickly. Enjoy! The 9c is an awesome shooter.

Hushpa, welcome aboard. I really like the 9C. Don't have one yet. Had a 40C---nice gun, but not that crazy about 40. I carry a SD9VE, and a M&P9C would make a nice companion. I guess I just like guns in 9mm. Let us know how she shoots. Stay safe.
