Was browsing the Fender Blues Junior amps on Ebay a couple nights ago and saw a 'local pickup only' auction for a Blues Junior III about 30 minutes from me. The 'Buy-It-Now' price was $375 but they were accepting offers. I offered $350 and it became mine. Went and picked it up today and it came with a cover and stand as well. When I got it home and checked the speaker it turns out that someone swapped out the original with a Eminence from a Blues Deluxe Reissue amp.

I'm in the market for a LITTLE amp and preferably very cheap.
I bought a couple Yamaha GA-10 solid state amps for under $20 on Ebay recently. With shipping one was $25 and the other was $35. They are about the size of a lunchbox, 7 watts and a 12cm (about 4.75 inch) speaker. Very robust, and I like the full size headphone jack. I was pleasantly surprised by them. You can find a lot of Youtube videos about them, like this one.

Nice score.

I have a couple of very nice tube amps. And have owned dozens in my years as a semi-pro guitarist.

But I'll never buy another as I have gone digital since buying a Fractal FM3. I was a tube amp purist who thought I would never go that way. But the technology got to a point where I could no longer deny the upside of digital technology.

I suppose I'm like the old piceman that switched from a model 10 to a Glock and never looked back.
