The bobbed 37-2 needed a big brother :D

Have only got to shoot it once so far but very nice, definitely happy with it. Found a holster from 1791 to go with it, really impressed with the holster. I would have liked it to be a tad longer to cover the barrel but not sweating it.

I bought one a year or so ago, just sent the cylinder to TK Customs and had it cut for moonclips. After some shakedown rounds it will go into rotation with my L-comp for ccw.

I've had a few older 19's and 66's and I like this better than any of them!

That is the one thing I need to address. The grips that come with it are not speedloader friendly, which seems odd for a gun clearly meant to be carried. So I am looking for combats with the speedloader cutout, any suggestions or reviews are defintiely welcome on the subject. Thanks!

a gun clearly meant to be carried.

I don't know if S&W made this revolver for people to carry any more than any other firearm. I mean, aren't most guns are meant to carry? Anyway you'd think that if S&W actually intended this gun for self defense (anymore than any other handgun), they shouldn't have drilled additional holes in the barrel that could redirect muzzle blast into the operators face during a tussle or awkward positioned shot.

Sexy gun though. I hope you use it for whatever you want and it works out smashingly.

Very true. More to the point though, I would have thought a gun like this would have grips that are speedloader friendly, or at least more likely than say a long tube target style gun. Still, definitely not disappointed in it, I see it as a chance to make it a little different.
