I was lucky enough to find a group of firearms that included several S&W revolvers. One of them is a K22 serial 203xxx 5-screw with 6" barrel. It shows some holster wear, but is still in great condition. My oldest son and I shot it for about 45 mins tonight and it functioned perfectly. I was also able to get a 66-1 and 65-5. This is a sickness. My wife is not impressed.

I'll have to say I have the most fun shooting my k-22 as any gun I have ! Next trip to the range, take your wife along. But be prepared to lose the 22, she may " claim" it !!

Luckily, Our range is the back porch/yard. I have both 4" and 10" gongs at 25 and 100 yards. She typically doesn't say much about my firearms, but doesn't participate much.

Nice finds!
As to the rest...Sickness? No. Investment? Yes. Ask your wife what she can sell her shoe collection for when she's tired of them?... Or perhaps she just plans to leave them all to the grand kids to enjoy and remember her by...:-)

I also have a 1953 K22. It is one of my favorites. My wife has also taken a liking to it, and actually enjoys shooting it. Actually, its the only one she enjoys shooting. She's got good taste.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures!

Took a recently retired old friend and new shooter up in the hills last week and let him have at it with my old k-22 4" and an old Ruger standard-He's hooked :-)
