A friend of mine wanted a Taurus Judge. I had one that I never use. So, he wanted to trade for a Ruger Security Six he had. Well, I have two of that model/barrel length combination, so I asked what else he would part with.

Well, here's what I got. She's a 6" barrel S&W m66-2. Looks brand new.

Gad! The idea that someone would prefer a Taurus over that 66 just shows the depravity that some in our culture have reached!

Well traded!

Your friend must have wanted a Judge really bad. I think that you did really well.

Congratulations on the trade and I think you got the way better end of the deal.

I just bought one off the board myself, a 66-2 that looks exactly like yours! Nice gun, I kind of have a "thing" for the M66's, I like the 4 and 6 inch guns!

Congrats

I have a 2-1/2" and a 4" M66. I also have a Judge.
I would part with the Judge in a NY second for a 6" M66.
Nice trade. You got the better end of the deal.

So, I got to the range today and brought my new m64 and my new 66-2.

First, I'll start with the 66-2. Well, its super accurate and it must have had and action job that I didn't diagnose when I was handling it. I am very happy with this gun!

Here's a video of the S&W at 25 yards with Fiocchi 142 Grain FMJ-Truncated Cone.

You certainly made out in that trade! Anybody who would trade a superb revolver like the S&W 66-2 for a mass produced novelty gun like the "Judge" needs their priorities examined.

You proved that you can shoot the 66- which is more than the previous owner can probably do!- BTW- that Fiocchi 142 gr. .357 mag ammo shoots pretty darn well out of my S&W's too.
