New to me Mod 43 comes home

I got to pick up the Mod 43 I purchased from Jerry in SC today. It was my first time to lay hands on a 43. I am pretty impressed;its light as feather(the shipping box felt empty!) The 3.5" barrel with target sights make for a dandy trail gun. I am surprised this model didn't catch on.

Great little 43. I have a pre-43, and it is, as you say, light as a feather. Great little gun to stick in your pocket on a hike, etc.
