New to me model 22A.

I was at the gun store today looking to pick up some ammo for the range this weekend. I asked about their .22 pistols and they showed me a few Rugers, nice but not American. Then they brought out this lovely. It had just been traded in for a Ruger .22. They were asking $250. After checking it out I decided to buy it. If it's ever been fired I would love to meet the person who cleaned it. I just saved over 100 bucks of MSRP. I also picked up 400 rounds of .22 ammo. Cant wait till Sunday.

Congratulations! Yyou got yourself a fine gun. What length is the barrel? I've had mine (7"), for ten years and probably 20,000 + rounds. Bang for the buck one of S&W's finest, a real tack driver.

Nice buy! I like the 22A's but what do you mean that the Ruger's are not American?
