New to me model 41's age check request

I picked up a pair of model 41's that are new to me...one is the 5.5" with serial UBR7xxx and the other is a 7" with UBH0xxx can anyone help me out with a manufacture date?

Probably late 1990s (1997ish) but its hard to say. I've heard you can call S&W customer service and they can tell you on guns that new.

It is easy.
I sent a mail to S&W with the serial number and received 2 days later month and year of production.

I also have a "new to me" model 41! Santa left it under my tree! 7" barrel - serial number TYS82XX. Can anyone help me with the age of this gun?

Mr Wolf, yours looks like it's from 1991-ish, so it's 11-ish. BTW, It appears as though I got your lump of coal, and you got my 41....

Damn ! a pair of 41's. I was lucky to find a second hand one down here in Australia.. I was lucky, it's serial number is 49*** as far as I can work out it's about a 1963 Model.
I still can't get over that you got a pair.

Australia? I thought the kind and benevolent government confiscated all privately owned firearms after that shooting incident a few years ago?
