I have a general rule to never sell a gun. But recently someone offered me a good deal on my Sig P938 SAS which I had bought to be my EDC. The issue with it was that I never warmed up to Condition One carry and it pretty much lived in the safe and made it to range days.

I found this Model 60 Pro Series and it looked like it had hardly been shot! Made them an offer and we met in the middle. The test fire case in the box is dated 2013 so I assume it is about 4 years old.

The previous owner swapped out the night sight for fiber optic. I think I'm going to leave it that way for now. The lock has been removed. I have all the original pieces in the factory case.

A couple of questions:
1. Can anyone tell me where I can get a plug for the hole?
2. Holster recommendations?

1. That is one heck of a nice gun. I bought one for my daughter a couple of years ago hoping she wouldn't like it and I could keep it but she fell in love and shoots it very well. I painted the tip of the ramp with red sight paint.
2. Do a search for "the plug" and you will get a few links to a couple of styles. The latest being this guy

That is a great revolver you picked up OP! Nice score for sure! I've never had any luck with Fiber Optic sights lasting more than a week before breaking on me... especially in the carry rotation. I do like how they perform when new and unbroken.:D I'd personally would swap back the original back on there if there is a remote chance you are going to carry it.YMMV. Enjoy that Pro model as you'll likely never part with it. Lots of good holster choices for you. Are you looking for an IWB or OWB holster?

I prefer pancake style OWB. Although I've been told by some that if you go to a paddle style that you'll never go back. Opinions are welcome.

Good point on the fiber optics. I may consider switching back.

Groo here
Simple Rugged made me a pancake for mine.
I got it with iwb straps so it can go both ways.
The gun is so thin it works.

Very nice and good photos! I have wanted one of these (those?) for years but they tend to be too far north of $500 to fit into my budget. I have a 3-inch SP101 with a CTC laser on it ... but it's just not sexy ... :(

I think the SP101 is a great looking revolver! It was on my "short list. :)

The Silver Dollar Pancake is interesting. Looks like you can also get it with a removable hammer strap. Sort of like two (or three) holsters for the price of one!

I'm going on a hiking trip next week and didn't have time to wait for a custom leather holster so I ordered a Blade-Tech Eclipse. I' for a 3 in ch J frame. I've had good luck with Blade-Tech and I'm hoping that it will provide enough retention for stomping around in the woods for a couple of days. Then I'll see how it goes for normal concealed carry duty.

I am partial to my Milt Sparks Versa Max II used to IWB carry my Model 60-15.

Extremely comfortable for all day carry and the horsehide back (against the body) is virtually sweatproof.

Looks very nice. If I need an IWB holster I will add that to my list for consideration.

Speedieguy.....please note that this should read "Milt Sparks" (not "Parks").

Current wait time is about 12-18 weeks. I have another one on order for my Kimber Ultra Carry since late-April.

While I carry my K-frames OWB, I have found the Versa Max to be the comfortable IWB option for me for my J-frames and semi-autos.

Good luck with your decision.
