New to S&W autoloaders.....

Always been a Smith revolver fan, but never cared for their autos (I`m old school-1911`s and Hi Power fan). Did some horse trading today and ended up with a brown S&W 40GVE w/box, etc. and a couple boxes of ammo. Never had a .40 before either.....
Traded a shotgun that I had $200 in. I ASSume I did ok? Are these pistols considered pretty decent? Seems to fit my hand pretty well-hoping to shoot it tomorrow.
Not sure yet if I`m gonna keep it or trade it.....
What do y`all think?

Im sure u will fall inlove with the gun but you may end up not liking the stock trigger a whole lot do to your previous HIPOWER experiences. Remedies are always available and if the stock trigger is fine then you sir landed yourself one fine shooter; enjoy!!
