New to the forum plus a new mp 15 moe barrel break in question

Hey all new to the forum, I just got a spanking new mp 15 moe have not fired a round through it yet, do I need tobreak inthe barrel? If so how do I go about doing it?

Just clean the barrel, and go shoot that rascal. Mine started shooting nicely at around 500rds. Use good ammo like CCI Mini Mag or Federal Champion bulk ammo and you shouldn't have many feed problems. You will learn how to load the mag so you won't have feed issues. Mine doesn't seem to like a fully loaded mag, I usually put in about 2 rd. Less than capacity.

ok thanks, also does the mbus sight zero like a traditional m16/m4 sight? ya know where you zero at 25 yds and it is zeroed at 300?

My mistake. I thought you had a 15-22. Sorry, don't have experience with your rifle. Spent some time with a M-16.
