yes this is a steel frame, very heavy for a concealed weapon, and i am looking to purchace a smith and wesson sigma .40 ve from my uncle.i will get out the camera and take a few better picturesEDIT*** the new pictures

thanks for looking! it says tfp0176 and i thinks thats the number out of 1500 made? this is what my dad told me who bought this for me as a "being born" present in 1991
