I've had a 66-2 for years but I still don't understand all the numbers on the yoke. The Mod number is easy but I'm not sure of my serial number. There is an alphanumeric on the yolk AUV#### that I "think" is the serial number but there is also on the lower part of yolk when opened there's another set of numbers i.e. a B25 and a five digit number below that. What are all these numbers?

First, welcome to the forum. If you ask your question in the revolver section you'll get more responses.

Welcome from Iowa.
The numbers you reference are assembly numbers. After it was put together they have no meaning.
The serial number is always on the bottom of the butt.

Yep, the three (3) letters and four (4) numerals are the S/N. Forget everything else.
