Newbie Barrel Shroud/ flash hider question

I finally got it!!! I feel like a man again. I ended up ditching the foam rubber and just went for it. Its funny the darn thing doesn't budge, but as soon as it moves a 16th of an inch it spins right off. Thanks again guys for the "support." Now I can start shopping for a shroud and a barrel wrench.

PS- whats the proper torque in ft/lb for the FH?

Victory! Chest bump. Haha. Man I almost felt like shattering my gun on the floor haha. That thing is on there way too tight then it should be. And man, just hand tight should be good so you never have to go through this again!

Don't you just love times like this... :D

You need to replace the crush washer every time you remove it. Torque is only around 20 ft lbs . If the crush washer does it job, that's all you need.

My barrel nut wrench fits over standard flash hiders. But the hand guard end cap needs to be removed.
My crush washers provide the correct torque of around 20 Ft. Lbs.
Oh yeah, what's a 15-22 talo?
