Hey guys just need some insight here , I just got my 9c about a month ago and put about 300rds thru it and no problems at all. love it !!
What iWB holster do you recommend ? I hear crossbreed, N82, Fobus ?
What ammo are you using in your 9c or 9mm ? Since ammo has been so tight,I have only practiced using Federal 115gr FMJ that I got from Walmart, no complaints. but I do have 100 rds of Fiocchi 124gr JHP which I think senseless to waste practicing with at the range ?
one more question....Cleaning...I have a standard cleaning kit, wire brush, solution, gun oil....etc. I have seen stuff that's all in one in a can that cleans and lubricates...what do you recommend ?

Thanks in advance ,
Brian

You need to watch the youtube video's that are out there on FROG LUBE. That product is God's gift to guns! It amazing! IF applied correctly, it is all you will ever need. It cleans, lubes, & protects. After treating your weapon with fl, cleaning your gun after a day at the range is a breeze ;)
As far as holsters go, although I dont have one yet (still waiting on ccl to get back), I will probably be getting a versacarry or a tactipac fusionpac. I dont like leather holsters. Leather gets hot against my skin. (my 2 cents)

Its pretty much a wide open question but I will give my 2 cents. For my 9c IWB I like the Crossbreed supertuck and the n82 tactical PRO. I prefer the N82 easily over the cbst but its all personal preference. I am also from Florida and with the heat I have no issues with either. If you decide on the CBST get the horsehide, better in this heat. For range ammo I use Federal or WWB from walmart or anything else I can get my hands on, I have shot thousands of rounds through mine and never had one single issue to date. It eats it all. Cheaper the better for practice.

For defensive rounds I personally use Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P in all my guns. Just make sure whatever you decide you shoot some of it to make sure all is well feeding wise and your accuracy is what you want in terms of getting back on target. ALOT out there so its pretty easy to pick some good defensive rounds. I get the 50 round boxes of the Speer online much cheaper than you can usually get in stores for a box of 20.

Cleaning I prefer Ballistol but its not cheap and it stinks, Hoppes is fine as well and have used it for years, ballistol just makes it faster and its my lube as well. You should get alot of opinions on this thread and forum in this area its really all personal preference or trial and error.

Here is a good place to read up on defensive ammo when you have some time:

Best Choices for Self Defense Ammo

Crossbreed ST for concealed carry is a great choice.

My choice of defense round is Winchester's PDX1 +P. Its a bonded jacketed hollow point. One of the best out there IMO, up there with Gold Dots, Golden Saber, HST, etc. I also like the +P because you can improve the velocity much more due to the short barrel.

For range fun, I shoot a big load of "whatever". Tulammo, WWB, Remington, you name it. No issues after the break in.
