Thought I would introduce myself a bit. I live here, (points to palm of right hand, about 1" up and 1 1/4" in from the side opposite my thumb). Sorry, if you don't understand my explanation, it works better in person than words. 
Actuallly, I live in Galesburg, a small town half way between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek.
I got my first gun at the end of February, a Walther P22, and learned how to shoot. I quickly got hooked, (the first time at the range the day after getting it), and put a M&P 9c on layaway less than a month later.
I paid it off on Friday, and looked forward to going to the range yesterday to shoot. An emergency came up yesterday (kidney stone, ouch) and I didn't make it there. I will have to get there soon so that I can play with it. I am thinking of having the polymer housing painted, but haven't decided yet.
