newbie question i just joined

I just bought a 686-6 SSR Smith&Wesson and it has the Performance Center emblem on the frame.All the others I have seen have just the Smith&Wesson emblem on them. Could someone tell me what the difference is?

Unless it is something new sounds like you got lucky. I have 2 of them and mine has the S&W emblem on the left side and one says pro series on the right side.

thanks for replying revolver king.I bought the gun at a pawn shop and gave $675.00 for it.I thought that was a pretty good deal. but don't know for sure.It was new with box and papers.
