Newbie Questions

P/u my M&P 15-22 Wednesday, Serial # DWHxxxx. Is this a recent series? It looks like a threaded barrel (suppose to be) and I believe I see threads looking into the breech. Are all barrels threaded? I've read the trigger has creep and is a little stiff. Mine seems chrisp and not overly heavy. Have they changed the triggers? And finally what does MOE stand for?

Yes, your DWH is a newer gun. If it is a threaded barrel, the threads should be clearly visible on the outside, not inside. Not sure about trigger change, but I never thought mine was heavy (but I have limited "real" AR experience, so. . .). MOE is Magpul Original Equipment.
