Newbie with a 17-4.

Thanks for this S&W forum, just what I was looking for..
In South Carolina for now but moving to Sequin, TX in May..

May want to sell my 17-4 but still thinking about it...
Model 17-4, 6 inch barrel with pin.
Made in 1978.
97% blue (small rub at end of barrel).
I also have the original box with warranty card & manual.
Shoots straight, don't think too many rounds through it.

I also have a S&W 38 special that is just as nice...

Make sure that '17 stays in the family. Buddy of mine has a '17 with an 8 3/8" target barrel .. damned thing can ring 3" steel plates at 100 yards just using the "iron" sights. And the trigger .. The TRIGGER !!!
