I have a nice model 17-4, 6 inch barrel with pin.
Made in 1978.
97% blue.
I also have the original box with warranty card & manual.
Shoots straight, don't think to many rounds through it.

I am thinking of selling it as I also have a S&W 38 special that is just as nice...

I may be on the wrong forum for this so let me know as I am new..
Thanks,
Bob

Welcome Bob from RI

I would not sell the M17-4. The way things are going, 22 ammo may be the only thing you get to shoot. You would have to go a long way to get mine away from me.

BTW we thrive on pictures here:D

I have a S&W 38 special that has larger Lead...
Also a lever action Henry that I love...
Thanks,
Bob

I think that you'll regret selling that Model 17 if you do. I did that once and about 40 years later (kinking myself almost every year for selling it) I had to buy another one.

My "Pre-model 17" K22 M. I know I would kick myself for selling, even if it wasn't Dad's. These .22s just really kick some serious pop can butt! Do you really truly want to sell that gun? BUT, if you need to, that's a different story. Just don't take peanuts for it...get the good cashews!
Peace, Jeff
