Newest addition, first J frame

You know I foolishly thought I was going to carry this gun but I can't carry this 40 year old beauty. I don't want it to get messed up. I will certainly shoot it and shoot it a lot but now I guess I have to get a newer one to carry

Hi, my name is Dave and I'm a S&W - aholic. Face it, you've got the S&W monkey on your back. Good rationalization to continue your collection - smart, really smart.

Best of luck,

Dave

My recommendation is to carry it a bit...at least every so often. A little carry and range time barely shows on a gun, assuming it's not 100% unfired NIB. You may decide that you never want to part with it...then the wear doesn't matter. It's your wear and tear.

Beautiful J-frame.
