Newest addition to the family

Is a 28-2, even has matching # stocks, unfortunately no box/paperwork.
Got it for $650 at the LGS.
I don't believe this safe queen has seen much use let alone the light of day in quite some time.
Now do I look for a box and save it?
Or trigger job, t-grip and shoot it?

Leave as is and shoot it! Yeah, if it were mine I would probably look for a box like all my others. That's a real nice one!

Guess we're in same boat as have a Highway Patrolman 28 6" that is like new but no box. Have resisted shooting it as enough others to shoot but everytime I open the safe its in I hear it calling, "take me to the range", LOL

This one is joining its big brother 6" 28-2 in the safe. Not as great shape as this one and it has gone to the range a couple times anyway.

Nice! Were it mine it would wear Herrett Target Stocks, and go to the range. I have a 28 no dash, 6" that shipped in1960. Gotta love 28's even though they are not glamour girls like the 27! Bob
