Journal News will be publishing more names of gun owners.
Further names and addresses will be added as they become available to a map originally published on Dec. 24 in the White Plains, New York-based Journal News, the newspaper said.
The original map listed thousands of pistol permit holders in suburban Westchester and Rockland counties just north of New York City.
Amazingly, Illinois got it right when the AP wanted a FOID card listing, I seem to recall they passed a bill that made that info private (Law enforcement and courts only) before the AP could get it (thank you ISP, you did us a solid). Unfortunately here, the damage is already done.
