After a bad experience with a smith and wesson M&P9c, I bought a 442 revolving needing something easily concealed. I went out and shot 100 round through it noticing that my grouping at 7 yards wasn't grouping at all. In fact out of 100 round, only 15 hit the 12 inch target, and of those 15, none at point of aim. I am an -okay- shot. I decided to clean it, and upon cleaning I noticed how -terrible- the crown and barrel looked. Here are pictures. What do you think? Would this be the cause do you think?

I'll step up and say....I can't tell a thing (good or bad) from those pics you posted. One thing I would suggest before you do anything else is...find someone who is actually a good shot with a pistol and have them shoot it.

First pick right side is jagged. I took to a gun smith 30 min ago and he said crown is damaged, on right lower side (where is jagged), and that would explain the accuracy problem. He also pointed out that the barrel has been overtightened against the frame where there is no finish. After checking he also pointed out that the left side rifling is almost non existent. Bring back to shop or send to smith? Was bought yesterday.
