NIB?

I was just wondering about this:When you buy a NIB pistol,
IE a 3rd Gen, can you submit the warranty paper work & will
the gun still be covered? Does anyone have any experience
with this? Just curious.

Yes, a couple of years ago, I bought a NIB 3913 TSW. I called S&W and they said they would cover it as I was the original owner. They said, if I remember correctly, that they only offered the lifetime warranty beginning in 1989, so if it was a gun produced before that, it wouldn't qualify.

I would suggest that you call S&W before you buy, to confirm, if that is a deal breaker for you.
