Stumbled across this today at the Houston Show.
1969 "T" series with the pouch and 2 mags..
P35's just seem to fit my hand to a T.

Every serious pistolero needs a good Hi-Power. I have a WWII Waffenamt marked version.

Had a modern one in .40 S&W , but the weight/mass they added to the slide ruined the perfect balance and pointability of the original.

Very nice! Good price too. I'm envious.

Snagged a NOVAK modified BHP several years back...my FAVORITE carry gun.

They flat fit your hand so well!

Nice one, Xfuzz! Very clean, and I like the hammer.

I found one recently that is joy to shoot. It has a shortened hammer that barely misses pinching me. It has a number of mods on it - including Novak sights, Spegel grips, polished feed ramp, and an extended safety. I don't know if this was a custom package offered by Novak or someone's personal dream - but I sure like it.

Very nice.

No semi-auto sits in the hand as nicely, IMO.

I have it's twin. Still shoots great although the bore is a little dark. May I assume that the Waffenamt code is WaA140?

Yep! Shoots great and 100% reliable. It loved Nyclads. I even used to wear it behind the counter some days when I had my shop.

Nice Hi-Power XFuzz! Looks very clean. The streaked pattern in the grip is a nice unique touch. The T series Hi-Powers seem to be considered the best ones by many Hi-Power aficionados. You did well to acquire that one for a good price. Hope a shooting report is forthcoming.

The Hi-Power is my favorite 9mm of all. Mine is an FN that was turned out just after World War II.

I have two, this Practical is my favorite. I've often considered changing the overly large rear sight, but it works so well:

That is what I thought. I got a set from CDNN last week. They are great to look at, but make the grip way too fat in my opinion. I am going to get a set of the originals and have a friend modify them to fit my MKII with the ambi safety.

I got this '73Charlie in a private sale at a gun show two years ago for $275...showed a lot of finish wear, and I had to refinish the grips...I dont mind the finish wear, as I carry this Browning...It shoots great.

that's odd...I didn't feel mine were any thicker..I actually thought they were a bit slimmer...but the checkering was a bit too aggressive for me...

I had the plastic factory ones on the MK II. I also have an older HP with the wood grips and they are much thinner.

Xfuzz,
swell gun, I bought a 69 T Model in late 1970 from a Hardware
Store in Fatalburg, NC that was going out of business, when I was in the Zambieze Rifles in the 82nd All African Division at Bragg. Paid $105.00 for it new, with the gun rug and one extra mag. Your price is outstanding as I see them go for $800.00 or more in the Gun Shops in Texas.

Hard to resist a good High Power! Nice gun!

Here are two I own currently - a custom FEG (Hungarian clone) and a WWII Inglis, used by the British.

This one has been to Novaks for sights, trigger job, and a "no bite" hammer. I also put some VZ grips thin grips on the gun & they make it feel like home everytime I pick it up.

This is just creepy. I was actually looking at high powers today and thinking to myself, I need to get one of these soon and round out my classic 9mm section of the safe. Being that I can't leave well enough alone, are there any HPs that are considered sacred cows/it's a sacrilege to modify and tune one up? I don't want to be accused of doing something wrong after I buy it and Novak or C&S it to my specs. Thanks again guys!
