Hello,
My first post here. Used to shoot and reload about 25yrs ago. Sold reloads (mostly 45acp, 357, and 44's) to fellow college buds which kept me shooting for "free" :) Anyway,
Inherited some guns and just curious on the birthdate of each.

S & W Model 10-5 .38 Spl- 4" blued and tapered/pinned barrel
S#C7818XX

S & W Model 629-1 .44 Mag 5.75" Stainless (thinking 1982)
S#N9355XX

S & W Model 1955 .45 Cal 6.5" Blued
S#N6896XX

Thanks in advance for your time and help. I haven't shot any of these in a long time but am starting to re-clean and lube them up for the range :)

Welcome to the forum, nice entrance!

You have revolvers that any of us would be proud to own.

Did they come from your dad or maybe granddad? Whoever gave them to you must sure have thought a lot of you. Very cool gift.

GF

Thanks! They came from father except the 1955- that came from grandfather :) Grandfather was more into hunting so had few pistols. He did fix me up w/ a nice 1900 Luger American Eagle Test!

Nice guns that you inherited. Look to be well maintained.
Welcome to the forum.
Enjoy shooting those great revolvers.

guns

Thanks JP! They have been in air conditioned houses for their lifetime.
