Nickel plating has become highly specialized item these days. I believe Ford's still does it and you might want to call Midwest Gun Works too. Other than that - you might want to do a Google search.

just because someone does it, doesn't mean they're top notch...of course a good reputation equals Dollars and cents....find someone experienced in firearms...Not Bubbas bumper plating service

Ford's is said to still offer good nickel plating, but their polish work for bluing is highly questionable.

Here's some places who do GOOD bright nickel...........

Firearm Plating -Mahovsky's Metalife
Been around forever, usually the cheapest for hard chrome and nickel work.

I have some parts coming in the mail that Helix stripped and replated for me. They did a one week turnaround vs the quoted 6-8 weeks at Fords. I will post results when I get the package.

I had forgotten about Mahovsky. I think I'll ring them up...

Finally got my parts back from Helix, they were speedy, mail was extremely slow. The strip and re-plating turned out perfect, I will definitely use them again if the need arises. Their price was 50% less than Fords and much faster.
