Nickel question

Here is the box info on my Model 24. I believe I am going to sell it and I "think" it is one of the last batches of nickel 24-6 guns to leave the factory BUT...I don't want to mislead anyone. I am not going to letter it so if any of the very astute brain trust members here can give me some info, I sure would appreciate it.

I'm not aware of any made after these but I don't really follow the new production items. Your's has a Julian date of January 29, 2008. The Standard Catalog says they were made in 2008 but who knows how many after yours. . . .? Probably not many.

Can anybody tell us when they stopped finishing revolvers with nickel?

Well I contacted a friend who works for S&W and he told me that 2012 was the last year for nickel. Just FYI. So my 24 is not in the last batch of nickel guns.
